What is it?

Blading is an IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) technique. It is used to assess and treat the soft tissues. It helps identify areas of restriction, and uses a shearing force to create micro trauma in the tissue. This breaks up adhesions in the fascia and starts the process of unhealthy tissue reabsorption and healthy tissue remodeling. This is all done with very light pressure, and horses LOVE it!

Benefits

  • Increased range of motion
  • Release fascial adhesions
  • Remodel scar tissue
  • Reduce painful trigger points
  • Improve mature scars
  • Increase circulation, blood flow, and lymph flow
  • Pain relief
  • Break the pain cycle
